Hi! My name is Charise Liggins-Walker, and I am the founder of SCG by Design LLC.
SCG by Design brings together two sides of my work: SassyChicGeek, a storytelling platform exploring life, work, culture, and the world around us, and educational programs at the intersection of business, culture, and society.
On the education side, I work as a trainer, facilitator, and learning experience designer, creating engaging experiences that help people build practical skills, explore ideas, solve problems, and apply what they learn to real-world situations.
My experience spans classrooms, workshops, professional development, leadership programs, career and work readiness, entrepreneurship education, and community-based learning. I've worked with youth, college students, entrepreneurs, educators, professionals, and organizational leaders.
My Approach
I believe learning works best when people have opportunities to think, discuss, question, practice, and apply what they're learning.
My facilitation incorporates practical instruction with approaches such as case studies, scenarios, storytelling, discussion, reflection, creative activities, simulations, and collaborative problem-solving.
The goal isn't simply to share information. It's to create learning experiences people can connect to and use.
